Christopher Lim

Christopher Lim, founder and Managing Director of Marano Furniture, a Singaporean entrepreneur based in Shanghai, has always had a passion for creativity and an eye for aesthetics.

In 2006, Christopher ventured into China, when its trade and industry boom welcomed foreign investment ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2010 World Expo. Having more than 15 years of experience in sales and management in advertising, construction, design and education, he saw the opportunity to embark on something that would encompass these sectors and his beliefs.

By 2013, his company had established itself as one of the leading companies to manage retail fit-out projects and furniture production with luxury brands for the North Asia region. After more than six years engaging and working with top designers, Christopher decided to start his own furniture brand MARANO, creating furnishings of exceptional design and quality. Today, he continues his quest to uncover and groom promising Asian furniture designers by providing a platform for them to kickstart their entrepreneur dreams.
